MACA Interquip Mintrex is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Design) to commence in our West Perth office.

MACA Interquip Mintrex is a division of MACA Ltd and is a multi-disciplinary company with a proven track record in delivering small to large scale EPC and EPCM projects for the resources sector specializing in the design and construction of mineral processing, hydrometallurgical facilities for clients across Australia.

The Mechanical Engineer (Design) works in the Engineering team to prepare technical documents and design mechanical items that adhere to the relevant Standards and Codes. To gain knowledge and experience in all aspects of the MACA Interquip Mintrex operations and learn the MACA’s policies and procedures

Responsibilities Include

• Design of items including structures, mechanical plant and pipework with safety, plant life cycle, economic factors, and relevant Standards and Codes in mind
• Mechanical equipment research.
• Drafting of site layouts, mechanical and structural components, and other miscellaneous items.
• Provide technical information to aid with the preparation of Datasheets.
• Technical and engineering support for in-house and sub-contracting drafters.
• Work with project stakeholders to provide technical expertise and support.
