Use an advanced level of expertise to deliver, and supervise less experienced Occupational Therapists to deliver, generalist occupational therapy clinical services across acute and out-patient clinical areas at Bundaberg Hospital.Contribute to the advancement of quality occupational therapy services and optimal patient care through provision of clinical service, clinical leadership for service development, quality improvement, clinical education and research activities.What we're looking for : Demonstrated advanced level of knowledge and skills in one or more areas of occupational therapy, with ability and willingness to work across the entire adult spectrum.Demonstrated ability to provide clinical services of a complex nature, using research and evidence to inform practice and develop the profession.High level communication and problem solving skills to provide clinical advice, clinical supervision and advocacy to professional and operational supervisors.Ability to initiate and provide clinical leadership of staff and represent Occupational Therapy within Bundaberg Hospital.Independence in establishing / maintaining effective and efficient planning and organisation of clinical and non-clinical duties.Preferred Qualifications : Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution as an Occupational Therapist and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $69,046 p.a., comprising salary between $57,996 - $60,515 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (Temporary Part Time, 30.4 hours p.f., from the date of appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy).
