About the role

2025 is calling for a new change in the new upcoming year. Have you thought a change of scenery may be what you are looking for? We are actively looking to add Experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters, to join our teams at our various sites in the Bowen Basin, Queensland. These include Saraji, Goonyella, Caval Ridge and Peak Downs. The scope of your work will predominantly consist of breakdown and maintenance of heavy surface mining equipment, and you will be on a 7 / 7 rotating roster. We offer FIFO from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville, or DIDO to the Bowen Basin available as well.

Your primary duties will include but are not limited to the following :

Preventative and breakdown maintenance of all mobile equipment by running diagnostics testing and servicing diesel engine vehicles

• Identifying and rectifying faults during inspections
• Oil changes, testing engine safety, part upgrades, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance and repairing faults
• Initiate updates to work procedures to ensure they are accurate and relevant to equipment
• Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and assist in the implementing of the new initiatives in a constructive way
• Demonstrate a focus on safety, achievement and team engagement in all aspects of work
