The Position
We are recruiting Resident Medical Officers (PGY2-PGY3) and Senior Resident Medical Officers (PGY4-PGY5) for 12 and 24 month contracts in coastal Northern Territory.
The primary responsibilities of a Resident Medical Officer / Senior Resident Medical Officer is to provide the initial assessment of the patient upon admission, daily progress assessment of the patient, and to ensure communication with the senior medical staff and other members of the team. Providing care to the patient, co-ordinate and facilitate diagnosis, management and discharge planning for the patient.
Health Service
A public Health Service servicing coastal and rural hospitals.
Essential Criteria
All candidates must have registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority as a Medical Officer OR the ability to obtain prior to commencing the position. This vacancy welcomes international medical graduates who qualify for registration via the Competent Authority Pathway .
The Package
Resident Medical Officer RMO2 - RMO3 - Remuneration Package $117,204 - $124,938 (including salary $99,787 - $106,467)
Senior Resident Medical Officer MO4 - MO5 - Remuneration Package $132,407 - $139,104 (including salary $112,918 - $118,703)
