About The Role

A Maintenance Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in assisting in the efficient and effective operation of maintenance activities within our organization. Reporting to Maintenance manager, this role encompasses various responsibilities, including purchasing support to production and maintenance, maintenance system administration, and contractor management. The Maintenance Administrative Assistant serves as a central point of contact for coordinating maintenance tasks, assist in managing resources, and optimizing processes to enhance equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and meet organizational objectives. The Maintenance Administrative Assistant will undertake a variety of manufacturing duties, including but not limited to :

Support in following areas

  • Procure materials, supplies and equipment required for extrusion and maintenance activities
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage purchasing budgets to prevent shortages and control costs

Support in Maintenance System Administration

  • Oversee the maintenance management system, ensuring accurate data entry and record keeping
  • Support in Contractor Management

  • Monitor contractor performance, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and manage contractual agreements
  • Address issues and help resolve conflict to ensure timely satisfactory completion of maintenance projects
  • Administrative Support

  • Maintain organized documentation and filing systems for maintenance records and reports
  • Coordinate communication collaboration between maintenance personal and other departments within the business
  • Safety Compliance

  • Assist in monitoring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities
  • About the Shifts

    This is a full-time position available for immediate start

    Monday – Thursday 7 : 00am – 3 : 30pm

    Friday – 7 : 00am – 1 : 30pm

    About you - Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an administration is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in computerized maintenance managements systems is preferable
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Data entry skills
  • Microsoft Office and Excel Skills
  • Self-motivated and well disciplined
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Prior mechanical skills preferred but not essential
  • To be successful in this role you’ll exhibit a positive, self-motivated attitude and enjoy collaborating with a team to ensure desired commercial outcomes.
