Worthy Australia is an officially registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission (ACNC). Our mission is to break the cycle of homelessness for the women and children of Perth affected by domestic violence. We turn empty houses into homes for those exiting refuges or transitional housing, sourcing every item needed from local community donations. Our aim is to provide dignified futures, knowing each family is worthy of love and hope. All our operations and roles are conducted by volunteers, and we partner with key Refuge Networks in Perth.

Role Description

This is a volunteer role for a Content Creator. The Content Creator will be responsible for developing and managing content strategies, creating engaging web content, and creating social media content. This role is hybrid, with a location in the Greater Perth Area and some opportunities to work from home.

Aprox 5hrs a week

Open to offer internships to students

Qualifications

• Content strategy development and research skills
• Proficiency in web content creation and social media content
• Proofreading and editing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Passion for social issues and supporting the mission of ending homelessness due to domestic violence
