  • ANU has an international reputation for research and education relevant to the health and well-being of the population of Australia, as well as that of the developing world. This is achieved through discovery research, applied research in health service settings, research-led teaching in health and medical sciences, and the translation of research findings into practice and policy. The ANU College of Health and Medicine comprises the School of Medicine and Psychology, the John Curtin School of Medical Research and the Research School of Population Health. These schools work together to deliver world-class research and education across the spectrum of medicine and health-related fields, working in partnership with the health sector at local, national and international levels.

    To support increasing international student enrolments as part of the College of Health and Medicine TRANSFORM, the School is seeking to appoint a Clinical Educator as the International Student Coordinator to be responsible for international student support in the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (MChD) program.

    The primary responsibility of the International Student Coordinator includes providing academic, pastoral and professional support and advice to students in the medical program with a particular focus on international students. You will also contribute to education and research activities within the School, relevant to your area of discipline expertise. Working closely with academics, clinicians and professional staff, you will make significant contributions to the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (MChD) program, and other relevant courses and programs as required, and ensure alignment with the university's strategic directions in medicine and health education. If appointed at Level C, you will also contribute leadership in the School and continuous quality improvement of the medical program.
