• About the roles

Due to A&G's substantial growth, we're looking for passionate risk and compliance professionals in the greater Brisbane area through to the Sunshine Coast who are looking to kickstart or expand their career in the financial / insurance industry. A&G is transforming its risk and compliance culture and is focussed on modernising and improving our insurance, people and customer experience. For our Risk and Compliance Line 1 & 2 teams, there's a strong commitment to uplift the technical, professional and behavioural skills that will encompass better risk identification and management across the insurance business.

As a Risk and Compliance professional you'll be the 'face' of risk and compliance enterprise wide and will confidently and competently uplift risk maturity through :

• managing compliance obligations and changes in both the internal and external landscape
• identifying, strengthening and validating risk registers
• mapping and strengthening controls
• strengthening our controls through analysis and process.

You'll enjoy developing and maintaining genuine relationships with our internal stakeholders and customers, by providing advice and information on A&G's risk and compliance program. Further, you'll relish the opportunity to meet and surpass our risk and compliance targets and work as part of a high performing and collaborative team.

To do this, you'll show your solid knowledge of risk and compliance across the financial industry with insurance experience being highly regarded, and the ability to analyse and implement processes to strengthen our business risk controls. You're motivated to create lasting connections and positive customer experiences and like being part of a collaborative team environment.

You're driven to exceed the expectations of your customers and internal stakeholders and have the drive to tailor your approach to each interaction. You have a proactive and customer-centric and risk culture attitude and the ability to identify and anticipate risk control needs.

You'll also have the skills to use various technical systems including proven experience (highly regarded) with a GRC tool, along with great written and verbal communication skills and careful attention to detail.
