Installer / Factory Worker

We are currently looking for

• Installers and Factory Workers
• to join our business located in Malaga, WA.
• The role and responsibilities will require a mix of duty between Factory and Installation Department including
• Manufacturing and assembling of shutters and blinds with mínimal supervision of the Factory Manager.
• Using a variety of machinery and manual processes to assemble products efficiently.
• Understanding and using of machinery to cut materials and fabrics to specified measurements.
• Handling metal parts around the workshop.
• Lifting, drilling, using ladders and working outdoors.
• Driving motor vehicle following directives from the scheduling department.
• Assisting to install shutters and blinds into customer's house.
• Customer service focus.
• Maintaining logbook records.
• The job will be full time, with hours to be worked between 6.45 am and 3.20 pm Monday to Friday. You may be requiring working overtime as and when required.
• Preferred skills
• Prior experience in a similar role (Industry experience - manufacturing & assembling of blinds and shutters)
• Experience in fitting, fixing, carpentry and glacier would be an advantage.
• Ability to pay attention to details and follow instructions accurately.
• Understanding and commitment to safety in the workplace.
• Be organised and meet production requirements.
• Multi-tasking and time management.
• Willingness to work in various areas of the factory.
• Ability to foster positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Communication and organisational skills
• Good physical conditions to lift and move shutters & blinds.

It will advantageous if you possess a driving, forklift license and a white card. You may also be required to produce a police clearance in the event you are selected.

Pay : $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
