- Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, your key responsibilities include :
- Raising Purchase requisitions & orders (MRP & Non -MRP)
- Receiving & Actioning Order Confirmations from Vendors
- Update open order reports
- Expedite urgent and late orders
- Obtaining vendor quotes and samples for new parts
- Maintaining Item BOM / Design changes with vendors
- Manage and coordinate inbound logistics
- Manage assigned supplier portfolio including pricing, lead-times etc
- Crete Vendors Audit Reports (quality, delivery etc)
- Interdepartmental communications (warehouse, production planner, production engineering, etc)
To be successful in the role, you should possess :
2-5 years Commercial experience in similar roleGreat Negotiation skillsExcellence Microsoft Office skills especially ExcelERP systems and process, SAP experience will be highly regardedInternational logistics experienceYou must also be an exceptional communicator and able to build strong working relationships with both internal staff and external suppliers to ensure that agreed outcomes are delivered for the business.
