About the role

As the Team Leader you will provide specific oversight to the effective delivery of participant support throughout a twenty-four-hour continuum, as well as regular after-hours on-call support to the Support Worker team. You will have community services and management experience, commitment to teamwork, and availability to work flexible hours and be included on the after-hours on-call support roster.

  • This is a permanent full-time position based at the Harry Hunter Rehabilitation Centre, Gosnells.
  • You will successfully
  • Build, maintain and develop positive relationships with stakeholders and the community to enhance service delivery for participants
  • Maintain a collaborative and consistent working partnership with the Leadership Team
  • Lead a team of professionals to design, develop, deliver and evaluate fit for purpose mission support
  • Develop, review and update processes for a more streamlined service delivery
  • Review and improve internal processes consistent with the QIP National Accreditation assessment under the guidance of the Manager
  • Develop capability plans and implement them for the team to improve capability and service delivery

  • You will have
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Social Welfare, Community Development or related field and / or relevant experience in a Community Services environment
  • Relevant experience in a social service environment including experience in supervising staff
  • Previous experience in AOD or Community Services sector (Desirable.)
  • A valid Employee Working with Children Check
  • A current First Aid Certificate with CPR
  • A valid Driver's licence
  • A willingness to undergo a National Police Check
