It provides system report configuration and development through the use of Extend and Discoverer tools.The systems Administrator utilizes their knowledge and conducts necessary analysis, problem solving and testing of all areas of Ascender Pay system and Payroll knowledge to resolve client's issues.
They provide support on queries from payroll team in a professional manner.
Actively participates in relationship management between Ascender's payroll team and works with minimum supervision in a large processing team.What You'll Get To DoEnsures the integrity of data and system security through the management of the system configuration, rule definitions and access levels and creation of procedures as applicable and directed by management.Responsibility for documenting detailed specifications and checking requests for new code configuration for Allowances, Deductions, Super and Pay rates within the Ascender Pay.Facilitates system security process from a user perspective through allocation of appropriate access levels according to positions held.Liaison with line personnel with a view to ensuring that customer needs are facilitated through the usage and outputs of Ascender Pay.Management and facilitation of internal training with the payroll team with a view to achieving maximum utilisation of the Ascender Pay.Conducts analysis, problem solving and testing as appropriate / required for effective payroll delivery.Provides support to payroll team on software functionality including problem analysis, problem solving and testing.Actively manages service delivery in line with quality and scheduled expectationsEngages management and consulting to ensure the Ascender Pay system requests are managed and escalated appropriately finding the best solution for clients.Responsible for EOFY processing with the payroll team as directed.Skills And Experience We ValueExperience using Ascender Pay an advantageAdvanced MS Word and Excel skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrable delivery of timely and accurate HR / Payroll services.Sound knowledge of HR / Personnel, Payroll and Leave practices, procedures, operations and legislation.Excellent customer service, where previous experience working in an outsourcing environment will be highly regardedDemonstrated problem solving skills and change initiativesWhat Would Make You Really Stand OutExperience in Systems Administration of a HRIS applicationDiscoverer report use and / or writing experienceFinancial reporting background with advanced costing reconciliation and investigate skill setsAt Dayforce, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace that reflects the communities we serve.
