Our client is seeking a talented and inquisitive Data Scientist with a strong foundation in statistics to join their People Data & Insights team. Reporting to the Principal Data Scientist, you will play a key role in applying advanced statistical modelling, hypothesis testing, and data-driven techniques to design and implement innovative solutions that inform strategic workforce decisions. This is a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of statistics, technology, and human behaviour in a collaborative, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and develop predictive models and algorithms using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to support people-related insights and decision-making.Conduct exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and feature engineering across diverse Human Resources datasets.Build and maintain scalable data pipelines from source systems through to model deployment.Translate analytical outcomes into actionable insights and communicate findings through engaging visualisations and reports.Share knowledge and support capability uplift across the team by mentoring, documentation, and training on analytics tools and techniques.Key Skills & Experience :
Tertiary qualifications in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline with strong coding skills in Python, R, and / or SQL.Proven experience delivering end-to-end data science projects, ideally involving workforce or behavioural data.Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning methods (e.g., regression, clustering, classification), and relevant algorithm implementation.Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.If you are interested and possess the right experience, please apply now via the link below.
