As part of the Warehouse and Logistics team, a Storeperson contributes to the efficient and effective distribution of our components and products by handling materials, controlling inventory, picking, packing and organising transportation.
Responsibilities of the role
Ensure work and storage areas are kept safe, clean and orderly.Unload incoming freight and load outgoing freight.Receive incoming goods and move goods to appropriate locations.Pick, pack and despatch outgoing goods and equipment.Organise transportation for outgoing goods as the shipping terms require.Maintain inventory accuracy.Participate in cycle counting and stocktake and the associated resulting administration from these tasks.Use lifting devices such as forklifts and overhead cranes to move loads.To be successful in this role, you will have :
