Join to apply for the Insurance Specialist role at OSM People We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a seasoned Insurance Specialist to join a dynamic, fast-paced organization within the offshore oil and gas sector. Based in Perth, this role has a broad regional focus, providing support across the Asia Pacific. The successful candidate will collaborate with both regional leadership and global insurance teams to drive effective risk and insurance management across a varied and complex portfolio.

This is a standalone role offering a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance within the O&G or marine sectors and a solid understanding of regional requirements and operational risk.

Key Responsibilities Lead annual renewals of personnel and commercial insurance policies across various Asia Pacific countriesManage and coordinate all insurance claimsProvide strategic and operational insurance advice to ensure adequate cover across all departments and projectsMaintain strong relationships with brokers and external partnersSupport insurance budget planning and compliance across the regionEnsure all insurance-related activities align with internal standards and industry best practicesContribute to the organisation's continuous improvement and innovation cultureAbout Yo 3–5 years of experience in insurance or risk management within the oil & gas, marine, or offshore industryTertiary qualifications in Legal Studies, Finance, Risk Management, or related fieldsStrong understanding of the Asia Pacific regulatory environment and operational offshore activitiesConfident in taking ownership of insurance portfolios and driving complianceA collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skillWhat's On Offer Competitive remuneration packageFlexible working arrangementsA collaborative and respectful work environmentOpportunities to grow and develop with both local and international supportAccess to employee assistance programs and salary packaging (conditions applyIf you're looking to make a meaningful impact in a company that values initiative, innovation, and professionalism, we'd love to hear from you
