The DevOps Engineer role is responsible for guiding and implementing automation initiatives, dealing with software development, operations, and services.

This role involves performing hands-on automation tasks, in areas including software development, operations, and services.

Improving communication, collaboration and integration between software developers and IT operations personnel.Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best!As above, you must have current and active NV1 / 2 or Baseline security clearancesWhat You'll DoInfluencing architectural decisions, implementing, and managing core infrastructure, developing internal tools, and looking to automate as many processes as possiblePerforming hands-on automation tasks to treat infrastructure as codePerforming routine analysis of the production environment and ensure that operations for each project run smoothlyProviding execution of activities related to infrastructure, security, continuous integration, continuous deployment, IT operations and metricsCollaborating with other System Administrators, Developers, Testers, Architects and Business AnalystsUsing business-oriented operations to achieve successful development and identify alternative solutions for reducing the gap between the productions and deployment periodWe are a pretty agile company and are keen to respond to customer, technology and internal stakeholders' changing requirements and this can mean we evolve in our roles to meet those needs.What You'll Bring3+ years' experience as a DevOps Engineer / Automation SpecialistUsed to working on most / all of Hybrid Cloud, VMware, AWS, and most importantly, AzureWorking knowledge of Ansible, Linux and Windows is highly desirableStrong knowledge of various software and performance monitoring techniquesWorking knowledge of common systems monitoring and alerting tools and also of common build, release, and deployment toolsExperience of modern DevOps Tools and utilities and build, release, and development toolsExperience of automation and programming and scripting languagesKnowledge of competing product offeringsStrong and varied practical hands-on experience in Azure automation and familiar with Git, repos, and DevOps processesStrong financial management practices with a clear understanding of the relationship between costs, utilisation, and project revenueCertified with AZ-204 (Developing Solutions for MS Azure) or AZ-400 (Designing and Implementing MS DevOps Solutions)Added advantage for AZ-500 (MS Azure Security Technologies)The successful candidate will go through assessment test for using Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform and CDKTF, etc.)
