Maintenance Fitter

We are seeking a motivated Fitter to engage with all facets involved in the safe and efficient manufacturing of aluminium products in a high-speed production environment. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 7am until 3.30pm. Overtime and weekend work is available, but not a must. Paid overtime during shutdowns.

• Main duties
• Ability to identify faults on automation production machinery
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Carry out preventative maintenance on fixed plant
• Ability to work to small scale
• Operate machines

To be successful for this position you will need to possess good mechanical skills in precision engineering aspects.

• Skills and experience required
• Post trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Fitter
• Previous experience in manufacturing or production or automation or processing or beverage or packaging or food or hygiene or pharmaceutical or printing industry, desired
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem analysis skills
• Solid written and oral communication skills

You will be required to pass a Pre-employment Medical including a Drug & Alcohol screen.
