In this role, you'll partner closely with senior leadership to define the strategy and scope programs of work to improve supplier capability in partnering with Woolworths and upskilling the commercial team to build stronger joint plans to deliver mutual growth with demonstrated impact.

- What you'll do
- Define the strategy for building supplier capability by reimagining tools, processes and training to bring greater transparency and consistency to how we use data to build closer strategic alignment.
- Review and define what data and insights are shared with Suppliers to help build their capability and how this data is shared with them, working in close partnership with Commercial and Wiq (retail and consumer).
- Partner seamlessly across Commercial, wiq, the Woolworths Group and Suppliers to create and deliver platforms and solutions to set us up for the future to ensure Woolworths is the trading partner of choice for our suppliers. Overall performance and delivery of the Supplier Capability and Insights team, by leading and developing through coaching, mentoring and guidance whilst role-modeling the Woolworths Values.
- What you'll bring
To succeed in this position, you need to demonstrate :
- Strong retail experience particularly in buying and category management, to deliver mutually beneficial performance outcomes, whilst unlocking data for better decision making.
- A track record of strategic planning, program management, delivery and continuous improvement experience, with the ability to understand how to use data to build capability (including Suppliers and Commercial).
- Design and leadership experience in the definition of agile teams to achieve commercial and technical outcomes.
- Team leading experience, inclusive identifying, creating and building processes and systems to deliver agreed KPI's and outcomes. Strategic influencing and communication skills, to engage direct reports, stakeholders, internal & external parties to deliver outstanding results while maintaining key partnerships.
