About the role
The Director, Planning Environment & Place provides expert project-wide leadership and strategic direction for all Planning and Environment, Urban Design, and Sustainability matters.
The Level Crossing Removal Project is delivered via a matrixed organisational structure with several delivery teams, working in an Alliance model. The Planning and Environment and Place teams work to support the delivery teams by establishing and operating management systems, providing expert advice and support on technical matters, facilitating relationships with regulators and stakeholders, and undertaking project work as co-located team members.

This is a 3-year fixed term position, paying a total renumeration package (TRP) between $279,239 - $401,017.

You don’t shy away from a challenge, have impeccable time management skills and you’re agile and adaptable to an ever-changing landscape of works. You’ll need to be resilient and flexible in your approach and apply your expert analytic and problem-solving skills when addressing various matters.
