Our client is a global leader in engineering and technology solutions who is active in multiple sectors including infrastructure, power generation, oil & gas, wastewater, metals, mining and transportation. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their team based in Newcastle for an immediate start in a full time, permanent position.
What’s involved?
- A variety of workshop based jobs based around rotating mechanical equipment, fans, ventilation and compression
- General fitting, overhauls, modifications, fitting and measuring of bearings and shafts, testing
- Use of overhead crane and forklift
