  • THE ORGANISATION

Leading Not-for-profit Member based organisation providing it's reputable members with audience measurement, policy, government relations and other impactful services. Based in the Sydney CBD, accessible from Town Hall, Kings Cross and Museum Stations.

  • THE ROLE

    • Reporting to the Director of Marketing & working in a dynamic Marketing & Communication team of 4, you will be developing and executing strategic marketing and communication plans, to support and engage members, elevate the client's objectives, build & maintain relationship with media stakeholders.

    Other duties and responsibilities include but not limited to :

  • Develop, implement and execute, a strategic communications plans.
  • Maintain up-to-date market, media and industry knowledge.
  • Oversee the content and design websites.
  • Manage SEO with an aim to increase traffic and improve the websites' user experience.
  • Manage regular communications including social media, trade, and mainstream press.
  • Planning and delivery of press releases; responding to media enquiries, interview requests and other PR activities as they arise.
  • Maintain the database for communication with stakeholders.
  • Provide input into quarterly Board management reports.
  • Initiate and implement PR activities that allow to build social capital through sponsorships and other community involvement.
  • Write and develop materials including videos, presentations, speeches and OpEds.
  • Develop and deliver corporate events and publications such as the Annual General Meeting & the Annual Report.
  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Corporate Marketing & Communications experience (minimum 4 years)
  • Excellent written communication skills - experience writing & developing speeches, presentations, press releases and crafting & pitching stories.
  • Agency, member based, NFP industry experience highly regarded.
