About The Role
If you are a caring and skilled midwife who thrives on variety and enjoys being out in the community, this is a great opportunity for you.
As a community midwife in Bourke, you'll build relationships, provide information, and support women and their babies in the district.
You will be involved in antenatal advice, helping parents prepare for birth, and attending to postnatal needs in homes for the first 10 days after birth.
Your role includes supporting new mothers with parenting, infant feeding, settling, sleep, and related topics based on their needs and aspirations.
This role offers the chance to broaden your skills, develop professionally, and make a meaningful impact in rural health.
Incentives
Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus for those relocating from metro, interstate, or international locations (evidence required).
Attraction incentives or allowances of up to $20,000 may apply.
Retention incentives of up to $10,000 after 12 months of service.
Part-time incentives paid pro-rata.
