Junior Strategic Sourcing Analyst

The Junior Strategic Sourcing Analyst for the Woolworths Food Company is responsible for consistently and accurately supporting the teams with aligning to grocery code policies, anaylsing insights, providing admin support on agendas and timelines for Cost of Goods, and working to organise and structure our teams to adhere to timelines and group expectations.

This role is a crucial point of contact between our buyers and the sourcing chapter to ensure we have effective communication and adhere to timelines. There is a portion of admin and also a portion of analytics

The key responsibilities will include however not be limited to :

• Planning and phasing of cost forum agendas, key next steps, and alignment on timelines
• Implementing training tools and process improvement initiatives for Buyers to increase confidence and skill levels
• Identifying and supporting initiatives to deliver to our sourcing chapter FY23 initiatives
• Sponsoring WFC's pricing strategies to ensure our brands and products are fit for purpose and delivering to our Customer needs
• Working within a highly flexible and agile environment and need to deliver to tight timelines
• About You

To be successful in this role :

• Expertise - Prior experience in the field of, financial analysis,
• Risk management - experience in identifying trends and key financial risks
• Partnership Management - Being able to demonstrate cross-functional communication in large groups
• Collegial communicator - Being able to adapt style and influencing skills to work effectively and collaboratively as one team.
• Commercial Acumen - demonstrate good business instinct and acumen and be able to use this in a variety of situations. Able to prioritise, work under pressure, meet deadlines and provide guidance and support to large stakeholder groups through effective forum schedules & structured training programs
