- Experience and Attributes
- Previous medical receptionist experience essential
- Knowledge of Best Practice is an advantage.
- Current CPR certificate
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Mature, diligent and a proactive attitude
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
- Detail-orientated.
- Must be Available to work from Monday - Wednesday 9 am - 5 pm & every second Saturdays 8 : 30 am - 1 : 30 pm.
- Key Responsibilities
- As the first point of contact to patients, greeting patients upon arrival and accurately processing relevant paperwork is essential
- Manage a large volume of calls which requires exceptional phone manner and demonstrated ability to seamlessly handle customer inquiries.
- Booking appointments
- Billing and receipting patient accounts
- Document scanning and allocating
- Cold chain management
- Fostering professional working relationship with team members, patients and medical staff
