Job Description About the roleWe are seeking applications for a Laboratory Technician to join our modern, NATA-accredited laboratory.

The role involves preparing samples for analysis and requires a versatile individual who can adapt to various tasks and work across multiple teams.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory processes.ResponsibilitiesSample Weighing and Cleaning : Gravimetric analysis of dust filters, cleaning of equipment and reloading of mediaSample filter preparation : Sample sorting, splitting and treatment prior to analysisInstrumentation : loading of samples, scanning and data exportQuality Control : Follow all quality control protocols to maintain high standards.Safety : Comply with laboratory safety procedures and proper PPE usage.Documentation : Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Housekeeping : Maintain a clean and organised workspace through regular housekeeping.

Desired Skills and Experience About youThe ideal candidate will possess : Exceptional attention to detailExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written)Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong teamwork skillsA certificate IV in Lab techniques or BSc degreePrevious experience in a similar role is desirableMust be available to work the 1-9pm night shiftPhysically fit, comfortable working both seated and standingAt Envirolab Group, you'll be part of a supportive team environment led by industry experts.
