About the role

As part of the Operations Team - Fleet and Workshop at NGT Logistics Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of the company's fleet of vehicles and maintenance workshop. Additionally, as part of the Operations Team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing logistics activities. This full-time, on-site role in Henderson will see you playing a crucial part in supporting the overall operations and growth of the business.

What you'll be doing

• Scheduling the day-to-day operations of Transport and Logistics
• Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, laws, safety standards, CoR, and NHVR
• Managing driver performance and training to ensure a Safety-First culture
• Negotiating transportation contracts and rates
• Managing the maintenance, repair, and replacement of the company's fleet of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and compliance
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the in-house workshop, including supervising and coordinating the work of mechanics and technicians
• Managing the procurement of parts, tools, and equipment required for the workshop
