A role for a leader who is informed, connected, hands-on and can-do
Funded through government and philanthropy, this long-established, national organisation provides essential learning and social experiences to young children.
Built on a base philosophy that recognises parents as a child's first teacher, it delivers various purpose-designed services and early intervention programs that range from universal through clinical to therapeutic. It also acts as an authoritative voice to government and the wider community on early childhood and parenting issues.
Presently moving through a transformation aimed to take it from 'very good' to 'beyond excellent,' this small, financially sustainable and influential human services nonprofit is growing exponentially. But with demand on the rise, further strategic development is a high priority.
So, overall, the CEO will be responsible for planning and driving growth, ensuring regulatory requirements, customer expectations and company targets are met - if not exceeded - and that staff and volunteers are fulfilled while operations continue to run safely and smoothly at all times.
A key function of the role will be to ensure program design and delivery is efficient, effective, scalable, and informed by strong, ongoing evaluation and client input. In short, all of the programs really matter because they're what's needed in real time and are perfectly fit for purpose in terms of design and delivery.
