TheWestern Australian Sales Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the Sales plan to maintain growth of the business in WA and the achievement of that plan within budget operating expenses. This task will be accomplished through the management of the WA sales teams and close liaison with senior customer representatives.
Your mission In consultation with the National Sales Manager, develop the Western Australia sales plan, ensuring this reflects and integrates with the business and marketing planImplement the sales plan in order to achieve sales targetsDevelop, secure and maintain key account relationshipsImplement the pricing and margin strategiesControl sales related expenditure and promotional expenditure for WAInform and manage the sales team through dissemination of all sales and marketing strategy development via ongoing communications and effective sales meetingsLift the company profile through active participation in relevant industry associations, promotions and key customer relationshipsDevelop and maintain networking opportunities with other industry participantsManage the performance of sales personnel to ensure sales and margin targets are met through coaching and developmentEffectively motivate and develop sales personnel to deliver continuous improvementActively monitor sales representative visit programs and activities, offer advice and support when requiredRegularly appraise all sales staff to formulate training plans and succession planningImplement L&D training plans for the sales staff in WAPromote and ensure compliance to all national and state OH&S policies, proceduresTrain, monitor and use of CRM systemYour profile Demonstrated experience at a senior level in achieving sales targets including a track record of winning and maintaining significant new business accountsExperience in establishing long term profitable relationships across all levels of customer organization. (Regional Managers, Area Managers, Purchasing, Store Management and staff, Top Tier Contractors etc.)Strong planning and implementation skills to ensure planned outcomes are achievedPrevious experience in the management of employees. Servicing the electrical wholesale market, including coaching and staff development would be an advantage.Proven leadership skill in a similar roleKnowledge of CRMStrategical thinking and good analytical skillsJob description :
