Our client is a leader within the Funds Management industry, and they currently have a requirement for a Governance Analyst to support the Company Secretariat functions as they continue to grow and scale funds under management. THE ROLEThis role will see you supporting the implementation and execution of corporate governance related tasks. Directly reporting to the Company Secretary, you will have exposure interacting with multiple business units across Operations, Investments, Compliance, Commercial Tax and Legal.
RESPONSIBILITIESProvide assistance with the execution of governance related projects and processes;Assist with the responsibilities related to corporate governance and administration;Organise information requests regarding KYC / AML / CTF within the business and address external enquiries on the organisation;Liaise with different parts of the business to ensure regulatory compliance of new funds being set up;Participate in developing, reviewing and improving corporate governance procedures;Contribute to projects and ad-hoc requests.QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCETertiary qualifications in commerce, business, finance, compliance or law / legal background;Ideally 2-4 years' experience in risk and compliance within funds management / asset servicing / custody is a must;Knowledge of complex corporate and fund structures is desirable;Proficiency with entity management systems highly regarded;Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements across financial services, especially regarding AML / CTF is a must; ANDDemonstrated ability to understand governance, laws, and regulation requirements.SCR-amanda-chisholm
