As a SCC Personal Carer you will be a part of a compassionate and dedicated team providing the highest standard of person-centred care to our residents. For our care teams, compassion and empathy accompany the delivery of exceptional clinical and personal care to our residents every day.
Under the leadership of the Enrolled & Registered Nurses, you will demonstrate sensitivity and maturity to provide care to our residents. With your experience, you will be able to understand and implement individual resident's Care Plan which may include but not be limited to duties such as :
Supervising and assisting with daily hygiene of the residents Assisting with preparation of food and beverages, and feeding residents when they are unable to feed themselves Assisting with aids (eg putting on compression stockings, tens machine) Assisting with the administration of medication, and General light to medium cleaning duties What will you bring to the role?
You will hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (Medication Assist Competency highly desirable). You will have an understanding of Aged Care and Residents rights and responsibilities. You are dedicated to caring for older people to live their best lives. You will work well within a team environment and have a friendly approachable manner. Strong attention to detail and outstanding communication skills. Who is Southern Cross Care?
