The Role
As a Project Manager, National Program Delivery you will operate under the broad direction of the Director to ensure effective day to day project management in the Medicines Safety Program. You will act as the link between the Director and project teams ensuring alignment, operational efficiency and continuous improvement in the delivery of projects and programs.
Reporting to the Director, you will exercise a considerable degree of independence and perform a leadership role. The Project Manager will exercise sound decision making and judgement to produce high level policy advice, engage in complex problem solving and issues management and may coordinate and undertake detailed or sensitive projects that impact on strategic, political or operational outcomes for the agency.
Additionally, project, program and / or operations work may be internally focused or externally focused, as such you will have strong stakeholder engagement skills and will be responsible for leading consultation with key internal and external stakeholders to understand, negotiate and resolve complex, difficult or sensitive issues arising within a project / program.
