Lakeside Villages Inc is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of older people. Located on Delfin Island and West Lakes' lakefront, Woodbridge offers independent retirement living in a scenic setting with recreational opportunities and proximity to community facilities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 3 Board Members to join Lakeside's Board.

Expressions of interest are sought from qualified individuals with experience in :

Property Development, Construction Management, ArchitectureFinance, ICT, AIRetirement living knowledge and supporting older adults to live independently (advantageous)Responsibilities include :

Attending and contributing to Board meetingsLeading Lakeside's Purpose, Mission, Values, Goals, and ObjectivesUnderstanding Director roles and responsibilitiesOverseeing and evaluating the Strategic Plan's performanceIdentifying industry trends to ensure successProviding expertise in decision-makingAligning decisions with the strategic planSkills required include professional governance, problem-solving, strategic planning, flexibility, energy, vision, and values aligned with Lakeside. These are paid directorships within a reputable organization with an excellent team.
