About the Role Cyberate Technologies is currently seeking an experienced and driven Software Engineer – Embedded & Control Systems to join our advanced development team. This role involves designing and implementing control software solutions that interface with industrial hardware systems, with a strong emphasis on real-time performance, data acquisition, and algorithmic processing. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in software architecture, hardware-software integration, and automation systems development. You will be responsible for delivering intelligent control and monitoring solutions that support high-performance, device-connected operations for our clients.

Tasks & responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain control software for industrial equipment, with a focus on real-time responsiveness and operational reliability

Implement software modules that support data acquisition, device communication, and automated control functions

Develop system architectures that ensure stable, scalable, and high-performance operation under varying industrial conditions

Collaborate with client-side hardware engineers to achieve seamless hardware-software integration across diverse industrial control systems / across a wide range of systems.

Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment

Optimise software performance through structured diagnostics, debugging, and refinement processes

Maintain clear and well-organised documentation and version control for all developed components

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor degree or higher

Minimum 5 years of experience in software development

Experience with software development for industrial equipment or automation systems is highly regarded

Experience with hardware-software integration and real-time system performance optimisation

Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C / C++?C#?Python depending on the project context

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively
