Maintenance Electrician

The Role Joining a well-established maintenance team, the Maintenance Electrician is responsible for ensuring the Hatchery plant’s production machinery and systems are functioning to the highest standard, whilst partaking in a range of continuous improvement projects throughout the facility. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to : Maintaining the site’s production machinery – which consists of pumps, boilers, chillers, generators, conveyors, robotics / automation systems, and a range of other specialty equipment. Installing new machinery and maintaining site PLC systems Participating in continuous improvement strategies to ensure the Plant is up to date with current technologies Recording maintenance activities via MEX (CMMS) Skills and Experience Qualified Electrician with valid qualifications Industrial / production maintenance experience or similar Meticulous attention to detail and a strong team player Strong time management and sense of urgency Full Australian working rights The Benefits Family-friendly roster – no weekends or night shifts Tools, equipment, and PPE supplied Professional training courses provided Work with a wide range of specialized machinery and systems Short distance from Toowoomba, QLD Established and highly supportive maintenance team Your Employer Supplying the Australian market with quality eggs for over 90 years, our client is a legacy agribusiness with a state-of-the-art Hatchery based in Allora, QLD.
