Senior Microsoft Platforms Cloud Engineer

Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Senior Microsoft Platforms Cloud Engineer.

This is a long-term contract role for 12 months with 2 x 6-month extension options, located at our client's Canberra office with onsite working arrangements.

As the selected candidate, you will :

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure across Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure platforms
• Monitor, manage, and optimise cloud environments to ensure performance, availability, and compliance with relevant security and regulatory standards
• Implement and maintain robust security measures, contributing to a secure and resilient cloud posture aligned with government frameworks
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support, including advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex cloud and infrastructure issues
• Deliver strategic advice and contribute to the development of cloud architecture roadmaps supporting organisational goals for security, stability, and simplicity
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors
• Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and best practices
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and team capability uplift
