Reporting directly to the Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to optimise the company's profitability through the development of effective customer relationships.About the role _Building good customer relations with resellers and distributors through positive sales and marketing activity to improve the sales of our clients' products in your Territory.Responsibilities _To establish new products / technologies in the Australian Agricultural market _To acquire a sound product knowledge of our clients' products _To focus in a pro-active manner on obtaining orders for our client's products as a priority _To design, implement and monitor annual sales and marketing plans, in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager _To build and expand a sound customer base, increasing the market share and the spread of market sectors and industry base where possible _To ensure that the network of current and potential customers is maintained through periodical external visits and telephone sales calls _To develop marketing strategies for key products that fit your market and, where possible, coordinate on a national basis the marketing of these products. _To develop new products and technologies with Key Influencers and customers _To monitor and give feedback to the Regional Sales Manager on competitor's activities _To ensure that the professional image of the company is maintained at the highest level at all times, especially on customer's premises _To ensure any commercial dealings are accurate and any payment collections are actioned _Requirements _Education / Experience / Skills _Tertiary qualification in Agricultural Science or equivalent is preferred _Strong influencer and negotiator _Demonstrated Sales and Business Development ability - progresses each interaction to a commitment _Strong organisational and time management skills _Competent Presentation skills _Ability to proactively identify market opportunities _Commercial acumen _Able to promote / sell the value proposition _Current Driver's License _Application _Agribusiness Recruitment Pty Ltd thanks all applicants.
