About YapperaYappera Children's Service Cooperative LTD is an Aboriginal Community based and managed Service in metropolitan Melbourne established in 1981.
The vision of Yappera is that all Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Children have the right & opportunity to reach their potential through access to the highest quality care and enrichment in a rich cultural setting which strengthens their identity, cultural resilience, health & wellbeing.
Yappera provides children from birth through primary school years with high quality culturally inclusive Early Childhood Education Programs including Kindergarten and Long Day Care. out of school care programs as well as additional support programs and services for children and Families in a culturally rich Community controlled and managed Children's Service.

- Essential requirements
- Certificate 111 in Early Years Education and Care course or equivalent. (Willing to accept working towards Certificate 3, for the right applicant)
- Current First Aid Level 2 Certificate, Anaphylaxis Management and Asthma Management training; which complies with the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011); & ACECQA
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
- A current and valid Working with Children Check;
- Have strong communication skills written and verbal
- Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and ability to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs
- Be confident in collaborating with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs and interests
