This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our enterprise architecture, driving digital transformation, and aligning technology investments with business priorities.Key responsibilities : Lead the development and execution of the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and future-state capabilities.Own and evolve the business capability model, application portfolio, and investment roadmap.Collaborate with senior stakeholders to prioritise technology initiatives based on business value, risk, and technical fit.Oversee the architecture governance process, ensuring consistency, scalability, and compliance across all technology domains.Champion simplification and modernisation of legacy systems, with a focus on cloud, data, and emerging technologies.Provide thought leadership on digital innovation, including AI, automation, and client experience platforms.Mentor and lead a high-performing team of solution and enterprise architects.Skills & experience : Proven experience in enterprise architecture leadership roles, ideally within complex, multi-disciplinary environments.Strong understanding of business capability modelling, application lifecycle management, and technology investment planning.Demonstrated ability to influence at the executive level and drive strategic alignment across business and technology.Experience with architecture tools (e.g., Power BI, Visio, ArchiMate) and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, BIZBOK).Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Passion for innovation, simplification, and delivering measurable business outcomes.If you're interested in this role but don't feel that you match every single one of our requirements, we would still love to hear from you and explore the unique skillset and attributes that you can bring to the team.At Grant Thornton we do things differently because we understand that when you strive for better and care about what you do remarkable things are possible.
