About the Role

As a member of our dynamic team you will report to the Catering Manager and work within a fastpaced teamfocused environment at Joondalup Health Campus.

Your duties will include but are not limited to :

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Setting up plating and distributing patient meals and beverages
  • Undertake cleaning duties throughout the department and at ward level whilst keeping in line with HACCP / Food Safety regulations infection control and hospital standards
  • Dishwashing
  • Allergy control awareness

Successful candidates must have the ability to work shifts across a 14day rotating roster which may involve weekdays weekend and public holidays working a variety of shifts starting fromand.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic the ability to stay calm under pressure and be punctual reliable with a dedication to offering authentic friendly customer service.

  • Previous experience in a customer service kitchen and hospitality is essential
  • Previous experience in hospitals is desirable
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
  • Ability to be sensitive to customer information their needs and wants
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
  • Compliance with HACCP Food Safety and Workplace Health and Safety
  • Willingness to accept and promote Ramsays core values

    • Remuneration : On offer is a base hourly rate of $27.87 superannuation exclusive of penalties or allowances.

    Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
