Junior Merchandiser

Having recently opened a store in Crows Nest, we're currently looking for a _

• Junior Merchandiser
• You will play a part in the growth story of an Australian business looking to change the way we consume. If we are successful, more people would think secondhand first before buying new items.
• Qualifications
• Sort, photograph, and list secondhand clothes and handbags to be listed on our website
• Pick and pack orders
• Drive sales by providing exceptional customer service in store
• Get involved in social media content creation
• Desired qualities

When we think of the right addition to our team, we imagine that she :

• Demonstrates a flair for sales and customer service
• Understand current fashion trends
• Has attention to details
• Loves shopping secondhand / thrifting
• Is happy to commute to Crows Nest 2-3 days per week on a regular schedule
• Is honest and organised

Would be really nice if you tick one (or all) of the following boxes :

• Display passion for sustainability / waste reduction
• Prefer to work in a semi-formal, and family-like environment
• Have experience with retail, fashion, photography, and / or social media (particularly Instagram and Tiktok)
• Can demonstrate some business acumen

Initially, the role will be directed, but the individual is expected to be self-initiated. There will be lots of opportunity for growth and stretch the role over time, including to :

• Perform visual merchandising and store optimisation
• Suggest improvements where you see any, and
• Put your hand up to be involved in other general activities, as we are a small team!

Pay : $32.06 per hour

Expected hours : 21 per week

Schedule :

• Monday to Friday
• Experience
• Fashion retail : 1 year (preferred)
• E-commerce : 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation :

• Australia (required)

Work Location : In person
