    • Mental Health Officer
    • Provide practical support and assistance to consumers and their families / carers during an inpatient mental health admission.
    • We have a robust future ahead as the lead mental health service for the Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, and the Statewide Trauma Service.
    • Weekend work available to benefit work / life balance, 6 weeks Annual Leave entitlement.
    • Royal Melbourne Hospital Mental Health Services provides person-centred, recovery-oriented care, treatment and support through our multi-disciplinary workforce of skilled and dynamic clinicians and Lived and Living experience (LLE) consumer and carer experts. We are dedicated to providing caring and high-quality specialist community and hospital-based mental health services for adults and older adults who are experiencing, or are at risk of developing a serious mental illness
    • Your new role
    • Provide practical assistance and support for consumers and their families such as : income Security and Finances
    • Liaison as required with income security, such as Centrelink, Employment, or other income streams
    • Make crisis arrangements for pets of consumers to ensure their well-being during the course of the consumers' inpatient stay.
    • About you
    • A current Victorian driver's license and good driving record
    • Ability to undertake a range of practical and support tasks related to : Income Security, Finance, Housing, Data Collection, Resourcing and Networking with community organisations
    • Ability to communicate with a range of people, including consumers, families, carers and staff
