• About the role

As a member of Scooter Hut's warehouse team, you will hold responsibility for the accurate delivery of Customer orders on each and every occasion.

• Take ownership of loading and unloading operations
• Prepare shipping documentation and other related paperwork
• Point person for forklift and pallet jack operations
• Order, receive, and maintain equipment, materials, and tools
• Own counting, weighing, and identifying of materials meant for shipment
• Check materials against customer orders, picking lists, and billings
• Assist in the development of the annual departmental budget
• Check and verify materials in warehouse periodically
• Maintain records of equipment, materials, and products.
• Implement quality control techniques and procedures, maintaining control registers including inventory control and hold the responsibility for the production, preparation and reconciliation of regular reports of stock movement, dispatches, etc
• About you
• Proven working experience as a warehouse worker.
• Proficiency with inventory software, databases, and systems
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Physical ability to support all aspects of the role (to lift heavy objects etc)
• Current Forklift license
