Job description

We are seeking a professional, self-motivated, and experienced trainer / assessor to assist with delivering the HLT50321 Diploma of Clinical Coding.This position is centred on supporting, training and assessing current students throughout their studies with TalentMed.

  • Responsibilities
  • Provide support, training and assessment to current students based on their individual educational and vocational needs.
  • Conduct, mark and record student assessments.
  • Contextualise training and assessment materials.
  • Administer compliance related to working within the VET sector.
  • Evaluate pre-training reviews.
  • Complete ongoing professional development in vocational training, learning and assessment.
  • Maintain currency of industry skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of training and assessment policies and procedures.
  • Skills and Experience
  • Current industry experience directly relevant to Clinical Coding.
  • 12 months or higher in training and assessment experience.
  • Certificate IV or higher in Training and Assessment (preferred).
  • Diploma level qualification or higher (preferred).
  • A strong focus on customer-service.
  • A motivated and driven self starter.
  • A team player with a positive "can-do" attitude.
  • Exceptional people skills with a clear and friendly phone manner.
