    We are seeking a Cabinet and Furniture Manufacturer / Installer to work in BALCATTA WA. Full-time position.

    • Responsibilities
    • Determine the appropriate materials needed for each project based on design, functionality, and budget. Choose materials such as wood, plywood, particleboard, veneers, laminates, hardware, and finishing materials.
    • Use various woodworking tools and machinery, such as saws, routers, planers, and jointers, to cut and shape the materials according to the design specifications. Ensure precision and accuracy in measurements and cuts.
    • Assemble cabinet and furniture components using traditional joinery techniques, such as mortise and tenon, dovetail, or biscuit joints. Use adhesives, screws, nails, or other fastening methods to securely join the pieces together.
    • Inspect the finished cabinets and furniture pieces for any defects, imperfections, or alignment issues. Make necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure high-quality standards are met before the final delivery.
    • Assist with the installation of cabinets or furniture pieces at the client's location. Ensure proper fit, alignment, and functionality of the installed items.
    • Adhere to safety guidelines and practices while operating machinery and handling tools. Perform regular maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure their optimal performance and longevity.
    • Work closely with other members of the manufacturing team, such as carpenters, craftsmen, finishers, and supervisors, to coordinate project timelines, share information, and ensure efficient production processes.

    • Cabinet Making Accreditation
    • Experience in installing custom furniture and cabinets
    • Proficiency in woodworking techniques, including cutting, shaping, joinery, and finishing.
    • Strong knowledge of different types of wood, materials, hardware, and finishing products.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy.
    • Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a woodworking environment.
    • Ability to interpret and work from design specifications and drawings.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make adjustments or repairs as needed.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work as part of a team.
    • Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and operate machinery.
