About the Company

Davidson are working with a state government department who are seeking an experienced AO6 Senior Organisational Development Specialist.

About the Role

As a Senior Organisational Development Specialist, you will lead and coordinate organisational development initiatives to enhance leadership and organisational capabilities aligned with strategic priorities. Reporting to the Manager, Culture & Capability within the People and Culture division, your role is pivotal in fostering a flexible, engaged workforce capable of adapting to digital transformation. You will deliver training, policy development, and evaluation activities to uplift organisational capabilities and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and facilitate organisational development initiatives to strengthen leadership and organisational capabilities.
  • Implement contemporary learning and human resource management processes across a diverse public sector workforce.
  • Lead projects enhancing organisational outcomes, focusing on leadership development, performance management, and inclusion.
  • Deliver virtual and face-to-face training to large groups, integrating project management and development methodologies.
  • Measure and evaluate outcomes using evidence-based methodologies, ensuring continuous improvement strategies are implemented.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to drive high-performance initiatives and workplace culture.
  • Develop and manage online training deliverables, staying current with multimedia and design training tools.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive work environment, adhering to ethical standards and promoting cultural competence.

About you

As a Senior Organisational Development Specialist, you will demonstrate vision, results orientation, and accountability through :

  • Demonstrating sound governance and risk management practices.
  • While not mandatory, a degree in adult learning or organisational development is highly regarded.
