In-House Legal Compliance Manager

You will be joining the legal and compliance team, providing direct assistance to the current legal and compliance manager and be supported by a compliance assistant and two other support staff. The role is on a part time basis, with the successful applicant working either five days a week (with reduced hours), or 3 full days per week. The role will cover a range of legal work, including general commercial, financial services and compliance risk management. The day-to-day tasks will involve :

• reviewing contracts and agreements;
• conducting risk reviews;
• developing and testing compliance controls;
• developing and implementing compliance and risk management policies;
• undertaking compliance processes; and
• supporting the activities of the Compliance Committee and the Company Secretary.
• About you

You are a senior lawyer with 6+ Years PAE. You have previous experience working in compliance and risk management, financial services and or the corporate / M&A space. You have a sound understanding and familiarity with financial services legislation.
