Job description

We are seeking part time Kitchenhands to join our Residential Aged Care team at Aldersgate in Felixstow. We have multiple morning shifts and short afternoon (3pm-6pm) shifts available.

  • About the role

The Kitchenhand is responsible for assisting the Cook with the day to day food preparation and delivery. Key duties and responsibilities include :

  • Prepare, cook and serve meals as directed
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is clean and maintained
  • Prepare and maintain dining rooms in a hygienic and safe manner
  • Assist with ordering of supplies

  • About You
  • Certificate in basic food handling
  • Professional experience in Aged Care hospitality services
  • Knowledge of food safety
  • A current flu vaccination and be prepared to meet this annual requirement
  • A current COVID-19 vaccination
