About the role

Temporary full time opportunity to provide leadership, support and direction of a high-quality administrative service to support the Children's Specialist Oral Health Services (COHS), ensuring that the service improves and maintains an excellent quality of customer service and delivers a positive patient experience.

About you

  • Oversee all administrative functions relating to COHS to support delivery of safe patient care, including supervision and management of administrative support staff responsible to this position, and preparation of rosters, management of workloads, organisation of relief where appropriate, performance planning and review and ensuring duties are completed efficiently and within timeframes.
  • Exercise judgement and initiative to resolve day-to-day operational issues as well as immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set.
  • Foster effective working relationships with line managers and senior clinical staff to manage clinic scheduling and resourcing and promote service quality, responsiveness and compliance with established procedures and policies and key performance indicators.
