This position supports the Director and Deputy Director of Medical Services (DMS / DDMS)Acts as a point of contact for the DMS and DDMSPosition SummaryTo provide high level support to the DMS and ensure provision of administrative and secretarial services in order to achieve organisational goals and excellence in service delivery.To have a thorough understanding of the importance of protecting the integrity and confidentiality of information across the responsibilities required of the role.To work effectively with Visiting Medical Officers (VMO) in relation to credentialing, granting of medical privileges, craft group meetings and general correspondence.Essential CriteriaConsiderable experience in providing administrative and high level support at an executive level working independently, accurately, often to tight deadlines, and utilising initiative.Evidence of high level interpersonal and oral communication skills and considerable experience in effective liaison with levels of staff, patients and external organisations.Evidence of excellent time management, organisational and problem solving skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and individually under pressure, with mínimal supervision.Sound written communication skills including the ability to use computer software (e.g. Microsoft programs Hospital systems etc.) to prepare / edit reports, correspondence and presentations for senior management.
