Senior Project Engineer | FRP

About the Role

As a Senior Project Engineer for the FRP division (Formwork, Reinforcement, Pour) , you’ll take a lead role in delivering complex, self-perform concrete works on the groundbreaking Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro Project in Far North Queensland.

Working a 14 / 7 FIFO roster , you will drive the planning and execution of large-scale FRP structures as part of a high-performing site-based delivery team. This is a key leadership role on a world-first renewable energy project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of major FRP packages, ensuring alignment with project specifications, budget, and program.
• Oversee site-based engineers and subcontractors to deliver safe, high-quality, and efficient concrete works.
• Drive short- and long-term planning, work pack preparation, temporary works coordination, and construction methodologies.
• Manage construction progress tracking, reporting, cost control, and material logistics.
• Act as the technical interface between design, site delivery, and client teams, ensuring constructability and engineering challenges are resolved.
• Support and mentor junior engineers, fostering development and strong team culture onsite.

You are a results-driven engineer with solid FRP delivery experience on major civil or infrastructure projects. You bring a practical mindset, strong leadership skills, and thrive in hands-on, site-based environments.
